Located on the natural blue waters of West Lake Okoboji, this 1920’s 4 to 5 bedroom “cottage” sleeps 11–16  if someone uses the two fold-out couches. Included in the price of the rental is the use of a 6,000 lb. boat hoist. For an additional fee there is a 750 sq. ft. guest house which can sleep up to an additional four people.

Located on historic Dixon Beach of West Lake Okoboji, this home, built in 1920, has had many interesting additions over the years. Up-dates are nearly completed and you will find that this home is very comfortable for you and your family. Sitting a mile from Highway 71 and less than a half a mile from the airport, this property is in a great location – close to many local attractions. Included in the rental cost is the use of a 6000 lb. hoist on a 100 ft. dock.

On the main floor, the large living room and screened porch, offers a full bank of west facing windows so every evening you can enjoy one of West Lake’s spectacular sunsets. On the main level is a bedroom with a queen bed and 3/4 bath, a fully equipped kitchen, a dinning room, a breakfast/craft room, a 1/2 bath, and a three-season room. The three season room has a table that can easily seat 12 people for a casual dinner.

On the second floor you will find the Master Bedroom suite. The suite has a king bed, a full bath, a sitting room, and an office. The sitting room can become a separate bedroom by closing a folding door. Within the sitting room/bedroom is a trundle bed and fold-out couch. The trundle bed may be set-up as a king.
Also, off of the Master bedroom is an office, which has fold-out couch. Therefore, this office can be used as a bedroom. This office/bedroom is accessible through the master bedroom’s walk-through closet.
On this second floor is a large lakeside bedroom and can sleep four people. It contains a queen bed and two two twin beds. Located across from this bedroom is a three-quarter bath.

Basement: The basement has finished family room with a TV and a DVD player. Next to the finished family room is a half-bath. This basement also has a laundry area that stores a folding cot. This cot can easily be moved to the family room for an additional sleeping area.

GUESTHOUSE: For an additional fee, the guesthouse, which is located above the three-car garage, can be included with the rental of the main house or can be rented separately. The guesthouse has private living quarters, which can easily sleep up to four people. Within this apartment is a bedroom with two single beds, a living room with a fold out couch, a kitchen, and a 3/4 bath.
